Size - We are an insured company and install window air conditioners from 5000 - 20,000 BTUs. We advise all customers to use an online BTU calculator to estimate the best unit for their room. If you can take pictures of your room, we can give you a recommendation.
Window air conditioner brackets — We advise all tenants to purchase their window brackets. We will install them for an additional charge. Check with your building to see if brackets are required. Many building owners and management companies require brackets. Check your lease.
Models - Here are our favorite window air conditioner manufacturers:Friedrich, Frigidaire, LG are top of the line. If you’re buying anything for a small - midsize bedroom in NYC, you should go with Frigidaire.
Window Guard Removal — Many buildings in New York City have window guards. We can remove these guards for an additional fee. In most buildings, superintendents do not do this work because of the difficulty.
Plexiglass window ac installation - Many tenants in New York City love plexiglass installation. They look better and help cut out sound.
Top of the window ac installation — WE DO NOT SUPPORT OR ENCOURAGE THE USE OF TOP OF THE WINDOW INSTALLATIONS. Your unit was designed for the bottom of the window. We will not install nor remove any units at the top of the window. Do not ask.
